With the first snow falling so late in the year I was eager to get to the Lakes when I saw the forecast. Not that familiar with the area at the time some quick research assured me the view from Walla Crag was a great place to start. Leaving home at 4am and a 2 hour drive later I set off on an hour trek through the snow to the top it was a beautiful morning with clear skies but a biting northerly wind certainly kept me alert.
