Cornish sea stacks and pools on beach

Bedruthan Steps, Cornwall, UK

Having visited Bedruthan steps many times before I'd always been prevented from shooting on the beach when the tide was out at sunset. Fortunately on this occasion I was in luck. The beach is dominated by the towering sea stacks that have been slowly eroded over thousands of years from the relentless battering from the atlantic. Amongst the crumbling stacks is beautiful patches of sand and pools of salt water from the ever changing tides. Trying not to leave footprints in the sand I hoped across the scattered rocks in search of a composition. Finally settling on a potential shot I waited for the sun to set.
