Glen Coe Dreaming

Glen Coe, Lochaber, Scotland

Running late on my visit to Knoydart earlier I decided to cut my drive short and spend the night in Glen Coe. I wanted to try someone new so I decided to spend the night on the summit of Sgorr nam Fiannaidh which is located on the end of the 'heart in your mouth' Aonach Eagach ridge. The views from the top are quite stunning, unfortunately nearing the top for sunset it began to rain heavily and I ended up experiencing a freezing night in the tent. Once dawn broke it couldn't have been different, bright sunshine and a cloud inversion to the east. Although I wasn't in the best position it was still wonderful to witness. I captured the low cloud swirling around the more well known mountains of Buachaille Etive Mor and Etive Beag.
