After a trek through strong winds, hail storms and thick bog the last thing I expected was to find a snow covered Tor on the middle of Dartmoor. Fur Tor boasts some of the most dramatic views on Dartmoor however being the most remote tor it's also the toughest to get to, nevertheless the effort is well worth it and after a long night the sunrise couldn't have come soon enough, as the sunlight illuminated the granite and the grasses the cold bleak views were transformed.
