Gowbarrow Spring Snow

Snow on the fells at the start to the May bank holiday weekend was certainly something no one expected but an unseasonal cold spell had brought the white stuff back to the Lake District. I had decided to wild camp on Gowbarrow which has one of the best viewpoints over Ullswater and the village of Glenridding in the distance. As the sun broke over the horizon I was treated to some truly beautiful colours with a view to match.
