When the spindrift hits the fan...

The next 30 minuets where to be one of the scariest moments of my life as we made a tough decision of which route to take back to the tent. Unfortunately we ended up on a frozen 45 degree slope with winds gusting over 50 mph. The small pellets of ice (which you can see as small streaks in the photo) were like pins when blown onto our bare skin and eyes. Not an experience I want to experience again in a hurry.
