THE RUSH
Holwell Tor, Dartmoor, UK
Sometimes many aspects of Landscape Photography can be down to sheer luck of being in the right place at the right time however you have to get yourself there in the first instance. After a few recent trips of bad luck I was in need of some reward for my unsuccessful previous outings. Although conditions looked great my spate of mishaps continued, this time with a puncture on my car. (I watch a lot of Formula 1 and I'm sure the pit crews would have been impressed with my time!) With no time to spare I drove to a well known spot and took off from the car park in pursuit of the fleeting light which I thought I had missed. Fortunately as the clouds rolled over the sun appeared for a few moments and illuminated the passing rain clouds and land beyond.
