Stob Nan Cabar in snow

snow tongue

Glencoe, Scotland

Once camp was set up at 700m in deep snow I decided to head up to an unnamed peak with a view down into Glencoe. The hopes of sunset were quickly dashed as cloud and snow flurries moved in. Finding this strange wave form of snow that almost resembles a tongue it amazes me how snow can be formed in this way. A faint glow of pink helped give the scene atmosphere.
