Broken cloud over sprinkling tarn

Sprinkling Tarn

Lake District, UK

The cloud was pretty persistent on my hike up to Great End from Seathwaite. As I made way up the final slopes I noticed the light starting to break through, I decided to stop and head back down to the platue at Sprinkling Tarn, as I began shooting my camera took a tumble in the strong wind, clouting the only rock in a 3 meter radius! The strike was fatal but fortunately I had a back up camera with me used for filming. I pushed on to my camp and still had an enjoyable trip in the Lakeland Mountains despite the expensive paperweight I had in my backpack.
