Walkhampton Church

Many of Dartmoor's villages sit in some of the most dramatic backdrops in the region and although this thick mist doesn't reveal any of the landscape beyond, it gives you a sense of it's environment. Walking back from a spectacular sunrise at leather tor the thick mist was retreating and revealed Walkhampton Church, I unpacked all my gear as quickly as I could and took a couple of images before the houses of the village became visible beyond.
