Watern Tor Summer

Watern Tor, Dartmoor, UK

During around 9 months of the year the moorland is a wash of golden brown but in the hight of summer it gets it vibrant green coat on. I decided to spend a night wild camping at Watern Tor and hiked in from Belstone. After a very turbulent night of strong winds I was treated to a spectacular morning, although the light was fleeting it was worth the lack of sleep.
