Newlands Heather

On completing a 'Half Newlands' which I highly recommend as a walk I made my way down the ridge of Hindscarth which was covered in a blanket of heather. A quite amazing sight and equally impressive scent! The view looking down the Newlands valley towards Skiddaw in the distance made for a great image.
